Unique Features

This bar is handmade, using the cold process method at room temperature to preserve the benefits of our active ingredients. Like any genuine soap, this was made through the saponification process between Sodium Hydroxide (also known as Caustic Soda or Lye) and oils. Forty-eight hours after pouring into the mold, all of the Sodium Hydroxide is gone and saponification is complete. We cure all our soap between 4 to 8 weeks -- the finished product does not have any Sodium Hydroxide in it.

How to Use

Lather biome bar directly onto wet skin, or use the sisal soap saver bag. Keep on the self-draining bamboo soap dish, or hang in a sisal pouch to dry.

After bath or shower, leave skin slightly damp. Dispense 3-4 pumps of body oil on your palm, rub hands together, and massage onto your skin all over your body.

FAQs

Can I use this soap on my face?

It was formulated for the body. However, we have heard that a number of our customers use it on their face and like the results. I too, use it on my face because I have really dry skin. Having said this, we highly recommend that you do a patch test before using it on your neck and face as people have different sensitivities.

Why do you recommend to use body oil on damp skin?

Using body oil when your skin is still slightly damp helps to trap moisture, keeping your skin soft and hydrated for a longer duration. Adjust the amount of oil based on your skin's needs and the coverage you desire.
